A note from Nicole

Happy Monday.

Getting everyone out the door can feel like a small triumph—until someone decides the only clean socks are the wrong socks. I don’t have a solution for that. I’m just glad you made it here.

I hope you get a few quiet minutes with this email before the next snack request.

This Week’s Story

Leo could hold his pee for hours. Jamie found that out the hard way: every trip to the potty became a fight. Leo screamed when Jamie asked him to sit. Eventually, he wouldn’t even look at it.

Jamie had started with an intensive potty-training plan. They brought Leo to the potty every 30 minutes and tried keeping him there until he peed. Leo simply held it longer.

If you’ve ever started a parenting plan thinking, Okay, this sounds doable, and then met the actual child who lives in your house, you know where this is going.

A little company, every Tuesday
