Which sound are you practicing?
How a sound sheet works
A sound sheet is a one-page practice list for a single speech sound. Pick the sound, whether it sits at the beginning, middle, or end of a word, and whether today is single words, short phrases, or full sentences. Practice a few clear tries, then stop.
A name you type stays in the browser. It is not sent to our servers. The sheet is home practice, not an evaluation and not a treatment.
When to ask for more help
If other people often cannot understand your child, or you are worried about hearing, call your pediatrician or a speech-language pathologist. The editors include a speech-language pathologist who helps shape the newsletter, along with counselor Marissa Robinson and therapist Sydney Gideon. That list is not a referral for your child.
These sheets do not explain a tricky situation. For that, read what a social story is, or see the guide library. A grocery line and a kettle are the social story about waiting. A coat on a hook, then shoes on a mat, is the social story about following directions.
